Berjaya Air Sdn Bhd has introduced a milestone in regional aviation with the launch of the world’s first ATR 72-600 featuring a bespoke 26-seat Business Class Highline cabin. Revealed during an exclusive route event at The Boulevard, Berjaya Times Square Kuala Lumpur, the aircraft embodies the airline’s mission to offer elevated yet accessible travel under its signature philosophy of Affordable Luxury.
Purpose-built to deliver refinement without excess, the new cabin offers a serene private-cabin atmosphere, sculpted seating, generous legroom and a private-jet-inspired inflight ambience. The innovative configuration sets a new standard for short-haul travel by combining elegance with practicality and accessibility, reshaping what premium regional flying can be.
The unveiling also highlighted Berjaya Air’s expanded regional network, now offering improved connectivity to key destinations in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and selected Malaysian locations. This strategic enhancement reinforces the airline’s commitment to strengthening regional accessibility while redefining the passenger experience.
In partnership with Berjaya Hospitality Group, the event showcased exclusive travel and stay privileges across the brand’s resorts and hotels. Guests were introduced to limited-time promotions, curated stay-and-fly packages and premium hospitality privileges. The celebration also featured interactive sessions, giveaways and lifestyle-themed activities designed to immerse attendees in the brand’s vision of quality travel and leisure.
